Sean Edwards
PASTOR
Pastor Sean Edwards works his assignments with tireless fervor, affirming, “let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9.
Edwards has not fainted while working and leading God's people at his assignment to Faith Place Church in Queens, NY, a rapidly-growing independent congregation bent on equipping the burned, bored and the bypassed.
Edwards spends every ounce of containable energy pushing people to victories, teaching in a way where people laugh, cry, learn, and worship God.
Pastor Sean is used often to empower the larger community through the church as a Kingdom-minded think-tank, an advocate, visionary, speaker and pastor.
Dorlene Curwen
MINISTER
Minister Dorlene is our Arts and Worship Leader. She is a creative leader who ensures that our worship celebrations create a “wow” factor. She has worked diligently to ensure that our worship presentations incorporate ‘fun’ components that facilitate ministry to the people that God sends and are attracted to us. She is also an effective teacher and preacher.
Tamika Edwards
MINISTER
Minister Tamika is a mission-driven woman of God whose concern and compassion for the people of God has led her to use her degree in law and passion for education to inspire, motivate and minister to people of all ages. As a staunch believer in the "Plant a seed and watch it grow" philosophy, she is firmly committed to nurturing those seeds of faith and empowerment which are planted in the lives of those with whom she comes into contact.
Valerie Lawrence
MINISTER
Minister Valerie diligently oversees administrative areas of the ministry. She is very communicative, and passionate. She has a heart to preach and is learning and growing in that regard.
Jackie Warren
MINISTER
Minister Jackie is our Discipleship Leader. She is a phenomenal teacher and visionary. She has pastoral, creative, and electrifying gifts and can effectively communicate the Gospel across various platforms. She sees that our members are involved and actively engaged members of the body of Christ.
Wendy Williams
MINISTER
Minister Wendy is our Women’s Ministry and First Responders Leader. She is a skilled and sharp communicator. She develops leaders and undergirds the foundational growth of Faith Place Ladies. The Women’s conference she leads draws out one of our three highest attendance periods outside of Easter, and New Year’s Eve. She also oversees the Dance Ministry.
